Tips for Maintain Sports Glasses
Sports glasses refer to a kind of safety glasses wearing when doing sports, of which the high-end equipments have the functions of safety (PC lens), protection (soft and elastic TR-90 glasses frame), comfort (anti-skid nose pad and temple) and Aesthetics (go with sports and leisure clothes). How to maintain the sports glasses? I have the following suggestions:
1. Protected the glasses from contacting with perfume, pesticide and other such items with chemicals, so as to avoid chemical corrosion to the lenses and glasses frame.
2. Wipe and keep the glasses properly in a glasses bag after use. Do not store it together with hard or sharp objects, thus to avoid scratching the lenses or the finish.
3. Wipe the glasses with a piece of special glasses wiping cloth or wash it with professional detergent when necessary before use. Special attention should be paid to that the glasses with polarized lenses shall not be washed with ultrasonic wave or water, or the polarization effect will be damaged.
4. Persist in wearing and taking off the glasses with your two hands as the glasses frame may be deformed or fractured if wore and taken off by a single hand with too much force.
5. Put your glasses in a special glasses bag if you don’t intend to use it for a long time.
6. There will be unavoidable scratches and dark spots on the glasses after long-time use, in these cases, you are suggested to replace your glasses or lenses to protect your eyes; in case of replacing lenses, please go to the glasses shop pro or contact the manufacturer directly.
